The festival of lights. " Light " a symbol of knowledge and enlightenment. Of a space absent of darkness. of a heart devoid of any evil. A festival marking a celebration of victory of good over evil. And Diwali today having lost all its true bearings , is about bursting deafening crackers, flashy card parties, booze and a reason to indulge one-selves in never ending greedy activities.I truly hope this Diwali brings about a change ,and that one is truly awakened.Lets  celebrate a day and a life time probably pursuing healthy , helpful and sensible acts. happy Diwali!
